ASSOCIATE EVENT DESIGNERS TO HELP US CREATE STUNNING FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS

We’re a floral and event design company based out of Toronto and we’re looking for a few ambitious, like-minded, client-focused superstars to add to our design and logistics team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
*Floral design/set-up when necessary
*Event organization and logistics
*On-site set-up and coordination
*Ensuring all products/arrangement are in good condition and set-up as planned
*Occasionally sits down with a client meeting/consultation to collaborate ideas
*Attends events to represent the company (marketing events, bridal show etc.)
*A strong interest and passion for weddings/events design is essential
*Ability to give attention to detail to spreadsheets and PDFs
*ABLE TO SELF MANAGE. We do not want to baby sit anyone. We would love to have someone who can self manage and figure things out and present a solution instead of bringing up a problem.
*Previous experience with floral and on-site design set-up required (EXPERIENCE IN FLORAL SET-UP AND DESIGN IS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED)
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to work under pressure
*Owns means of transportation
*Enthusiastic in creating a friendly environment for the general public and staff
*Practice health and safety precautions in work place / on-site work areas
This is a part-time independent contractor scheduled opportunity – MOSTLY on FRIDAY AFTERNOON/NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS. This position requires a contract to be fully understood, adhered to and signed on every project/event you are scheduled to work. Compensations are paid based on the terms agreed upon on the contract. Starting hourly rate is $18.
Final compensation per hour will be discussed in the interview process.
